Simple was founded by three experienced entrepreneurs with a shared mission to accelerate decarbonization through technology: Felix Miller (serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Last.fm, with over 20 years of experience in machine learning and AI), Andreas Wiesmüller (serial entrepreneur and co-founder of 3united, experienced business angel and operator), and Mattias Brodendal (founder with hands-on experience in international manufacturing and supply chains). Together, we combine deep expertise in AI, software engineering, life-cycle assessment (LCA), and sustainability accounting to deliver decision-grade carbon intelligence.

We were pleased to have you to the international online launch of the AI platform SIMPLE – a breakthrough solution that simplifies the measurement of CO2e emissions and provides real-time data for companies, policymakers and institutions.The platform will fundamentally transform corporate procurement and reporting, creating a stronger data foundation for business and policy decisions across Europe.
Meeting climate targets and maintaining corporate competitiveness depend largely on reducing CO2e emissions. Up to 90 percent of these originate in the supply chain. Yet how these emissions are measured and controlled has been the subject of extensive debate for many years. The main challenges today are the high time and cost involved, as well as unreliable data and inconsistent standards – often based on estimates rather than actual CO2e emissions and resource consumption.
Even more concerning is the fact that management decisions, corporate reports, legislation and political guidelines across Europe are frequently based on inaccurate or even false data – data that is also slow, laborious and expensive to collect.
Over the past 18 months, the Austrian-Swedish AI company SIMPLE has developed a groundbreaking software platform that addresses these challenges. Its effectiveness has already been demonstrated in several pilot projects, and it is now being presented to the public for the first time. To mark this occasion – described by independent experts as a true game changer.
